Advance is currently offering lessons in electric, acoustic, and bass guitar, as well as drums, piano and voice.  Our lessons are "one-on-one", as we feel this approach encourages the best and quickest growth for the student. We know that all students are not alike, and their goals when learning to play an instrument vary widely.  At Advance Music, we take a customized approach to teaching, with the full focus on addressing each students specific needs and interests.  Our instructors are friendly, patient, encouraging, and committed to finding the approach that works best for each student from beginner to advanced.  Students can work at their own pace and pick the style of music and songs they want to learn to play. Want to learn a song from the video games Guitar Hero, Rock Band or Halo?  Are you interested in learning to play classical, jazz, blues, rock, metal – whatever your style, we’ll teach it to you in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.  Advance offer lessons 7 days a week, and will do our absolute best to accomodate your busy schedule.

Here's the detail stuff:

Lessons are scheduled by the calendar month. Payment in advance reserves the date and time of your monthly lessons. Lesson tuition is $25 per half hour, or $45 per hour.  Signing up for monthly lessons saves you the $20.00 registration fee. One month’s tuition is due upon scheduling classes.  Should you choose to do lessons by the week, there is a one time $20 registration fee.  Lessons must be paid in advance, one week ahead.  To remain on the subsequent month’s schedule, payment for re-enrollment must be made by the 21st of each month for the following month’s lessons.

All lesson cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance or payment for the missed lesson will be required. Termination of monthly lessons must be made by the 21st of the month. Termination of weekly lessons must be made one week in advance of scheduled lesson.  We ask that you make us aware of upcoming vacations at the time of payment. 3 vacation days per year are allowed (without payment assessed) between September and June.  In case of last minute teacher absence, the Lesson Coordinator will make every effort to provide another qualified teacher or an acceptable make-up lesson time. If this is not conveinient for you, a lesson credit will be issued.

Our teachers develop relationships with their students, so please see them during the lesson time if you have questions about the student’s lessons or their progress. Again, if you have questions regarding the lesson program, please feel free to contact Kevin at the email or phone numbers referenced above.  All registered students are entitled to participate in free seminars, clinics, and recitals throughout the year.  All monthly students (or all automatic c/c payment students) are entitled to a 10% discount on all sheet music, DVD’s and videos.
